You people

I love how liberals fight to protest whatever causes they might believe in but once conservatives show any sign of protest, the liberals get all pissy about it. Isn't it everyone’s right to show their support for the issues they believe in? Apparently there is a sculpture of Britney spears giving birth that is going to be on display in an art gallery in NYC that is right next to a bunch of pro-life materials. Pro-choice proponents have been e-mailing in about how terrible this is because it promotes pro-life. Not that I think Britney Spears shitting out a baby is art but COME ON!!! If an artist is passionate about pro-life, he has every right to model it after a woman giving birth. If you think this should be taken down then I guess we will just have to take down all the pro-choice and anti-war art that is out there. I know this isn't all liberals but I just wanted to make a point on how hypocritical liberals can be with one of their most used rights...the right to protest.

Trent Reznor

While checking for a bay area tour date on the NIN tour with Bauhaus, I noticed they will be playing shoreline down in the south bay and tickets go on sale next month for the public. But if you are part of the "Spiral" fan club, you get to purchase presale tickets a few days earlier. Sounds like a good plan so I looked into it. It's a NIN sponsored fan club, which is cool but wait, it costs money. Not only does it cost money to subscribe but there is 2 different tiers to this club. For $30/year you can be part of chats, band forums, ticket presales, and so forth. If you chose the $60/year tier you get all the amenities of the first tier but also a "special" spiral T-shirt and an official NIN e-mail address. Shouldn't fan clubs be free? Why are you charging your best fans to be part of your club?

I guess you are more of a capitalist than I thought. Good for you Trent, I'm happy you have true American qualities. I think President Bush would give you a good high five for this plan. I know I would but I'm not paying for your fan club...I can wait for public sale tickets.

Lesson to be learned: MAKE MONEY OFF EVERYONE YOU POSSIBLY CAN!!!

Fast workers

You have to give it to Republicans...we are fast working mother fuckers. With the new conservative balance in the Supreme Court in our favor for the near future it was only a matter of time before abortion came before them and then what happens a month later. South Dakota passes a bill banning nearly all abortions. Now we all know what South Dakota does with their time when the rest of the country forgets about them. They make history.

"Gov. Mike Rounds signed legislation Monday banning nearly all abortions in South Dakota, setting up a court fight aimed at challenging the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion."

Could you imagine what will happen if the supreme court upholds this law. People will have to find new answers to their "mistakes." One that doesn't involve a vacuum.
